On May 16, 2025, I walked across the stage at The George Washington University and officially earned my master’s degree in data Analytics. My second master’s degree was finally conferred at the Washington DC national mall on the 18th of May 2025. What a journey it has been!

Honestly, this moment means so much to me. When I started this program, I knew it would be challenging, but I never imagined how much I’d grow—not just in technical skills, but in confidence, discipline, and clarity about what I want to do with my career.

There were long nights, tough deadlines, and moments where I questioned myself. But there were also exciting breakthroughs—like building my first predictive model that actually worked or finally mastering complex SQL queries that used to confuse me. I’ve learned how to analyze data, tell stories with dashboards, and use tools like Python, Power BI, and R to solve real-world problems.

More than anything, this degree has helped me think differently. I now look at data not just as numbers, but as a powerful way to understand people, systems, and opportunities.

To my professors, classmates, family, and friends, thank you! Your support made this possible. Whether you answered my late-night texts, helped me debug code, or just reminded me to take a break and breathe, I appreciate you more than you know.

Now that this chapter is closed, I’m beyond excited for what’s next. I’m ready to take everything I’ve learned and put it into action—whether that’s helping organizations make smarter decisions, building smarter tools, or tackling big problems with data.

So here’s to new beginnings, new data challenges, and to anyone out there chasing their goals: keep going. You’ve got this.

With gratitude,

Emmanuel Agbeko Enyo
